EFFECTIVE PAIN RELIEF STARTS WITH SPORTVISTM
What is SportVisTM?
The only hyaluronic acid injection treatment for pain relief and improved function in injured tendons and ligaments
- Effective, long-term pain relief
- Timely recovery and return to normal
- A generally safe and well-tolerated treatment
- Available in an injection clinic
How does it work?
SportVisTM enhances your body’s natural response to a tendon or ligament injury
It helps improve healing by augmenting the hyaluronic acid you naturally produce in response to a tennis elbow or sprained ankle injury.
SOFT TISSUE ADAPTED BIOCOMPATIBLE HYALURONIC ACID (STABHATM) is the innovative active ingredient. It is the only Health Canada-approved hyaluronic acid indicated to relieve pain and restore function in damaged tendons and ligaments.
Tennis elbow treatment
Tennis elbow occurs when a tendon is damaged (micro-tears).
SportVisTM, containing STABHATM, augments the hyaluronic acid naturally present in the soft tissue surrounding damaged tendons and ligaments. It provides cushioning (support), lubrication, and hydration.
The result is improved healing for effective pain relief and a timely return to normal.
Sprained ankle treatment
An ankle sprain occurs when a ligament is stretched or torn.
SportVisTM, containing STABHATM, augments the hyaluronic acid naturally present in the soft tissue surrounding damaged tendons and ligaments. It provides cushioning (support), lubrication, and hydration.
The result is improved healing for effective pain relief and a timely return to normal.
How is it administered?
SportVisTM is administered in the soft tissue surrounding damaged tendons and ligaments
It is administered in two 1.2 mL doses using a peri-articular injection technique. The time between the injections depends on the specific injury. Injections are performed in clinic by a doctor trained in this injection technique.
